ALISSA SILVERS
Alissa Silvers, the effervescent creative behind the global brand LISS, is an internationally recognized contemporary artist and graphic designer. Born and raised in Münchwilen, Switzerland, she now calls Sarasota home.
Inspired by diverse destinations from her travels, powerful women, and people she meets along the way, Alissa’s commissions, featured in private and public collections worldwide, have ranged from 10ft pieces to live painting performances for philanthropic events.
Her passion is to create valuable community connections, support inspiring and meaningful causes, and uplift.
Whether creating digitally or with a paintbrush in hand, whatever she touches turns into a masterpiece.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My designs are inspired by places I have traveled, feelings I’ve experienced and the vibrancy of the people I have met all over the world. My work is a way for me to express my feelings, live out my creativity and to connect people.
It is important to me to collaborate with organizations and nonprofits who support the community that has welcomed me so graciously with open arms. Creating custom art requests for events allows me to step out of my comfort zone and try something new. I began using my graphic design skills to apply my artwork to other tangible items such as totes, handbags, postcards, phone cases, and apparel. This allows my artwork to live beyond the original painting and inspire the masses. Making a difference with my art is incredibly rewarding.
My overall goal is to continue to grow my brand globally and inspire others through my art. Building a legacy to inspire others and work together with the community.
